The Atlas will be the first of its kind devoted to the natural resources and environment of the Central Asia region; it will highlight the countries of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, and showcase the region’s wealth of natural resources, from biodiversity to energy and minerals, and agricultural lands. It will also identify areas of environmental concern.
